About

MAD design is a company built from the founder’s initials — Muhannad Ahmad Al-Drsani. Not exactly the softest name for a design studio. If anything, it leans a little intense, maybe even aggressive — especially since his name in Arabic translates to “the sword.” But instead of changing it, he leaned into it. Rather than softening the name, he embraced the edge behind “MAD” and turned it into the core of the company’s identity — something sharp, intentional, and hard to ignore. He designed the favicon as a helmet that splits into two swords — a symbol of both protection and precision.

And with “MAD” as the name, and his madness with detail in every design, the goal is simple: create work that cuts through noise, challenges expectations, and stands strong. Not just to be seen, but to be respected — maybe even a little feared — and something other designers look up to.

Not just to be seen, but to be respected — maybe even a little feared — and ultimately something other designers look up to.
